Ensemble member

Viktor Janoštín began his violin studies at the Prague Conservatory and is currently continuing at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague under the tutelage of Mgr. Pavel Kudelásek. Among his competition achievements is the distinction of laureate at the violin courses led by Professor Jindřich Pazdera. As a member of a violin quartet, he won first prize at the international competition Talents for Europe. He is presently involved in educational concerts and programmes with the Czech Philharmonic, and since 2025 has been a member of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestral Academy. Alongside his studies, he explores the parallels and interconnections between classical and folk music, and is a member of the musical ensemble of the folklore group Rosénka, which operates under the auspices of the Dejvice Theatre, Prague.
