Lukáš Holubík is currently completing his Master's studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague under the guidance of Professor Jiří Hudec. He was awarded first prize at the national competition of Czech conservatories and music grammar schools. Between 2022 and 2024, he served as Deputy Principal of the double bass section of the Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra, with which he also appeared as a soloist; he has likewise performed as a soloist with the Hradec Králové Philharmonic and the Academic Chamber Soloists. He is currently actively involved in the concert activities of the Czech Student Philharmonic and in the educational programmes of the Czech Philharmonic. Since August 2025, he has held the position of Second Deputy Principal of the double bass section of the Czech Philharmonic.
